    Getting Personal

    By admin | June 20, 2008

I do not usually post on personal things but I have decided that I will take this opportunity to do so.  I love getting e-mails from readers and am always so encouraged when I do get them.  Because of this I always feel a strong connection with readers, however, I very rarely dive into personal life (except once in a while).

After all, personal finance is just as much personal as it is finance. (kinda taken out of context)

So I want to take this opportunity to update everyone that yours truly, the CEO & founder of ChrisKakaras.com, is getting married in 8 days!

Obviously this will change so much in my life but for the sake of the subject matter I will highlight that it will DRASTICALLY change the way I handle my personal finances.  So as readers, I wanted to give you a heads up that.

#1) As of June 28, 2008 I will be married, which will hopefully bring new insight.

    and

#2) I will be taking 2 week respite (for the honeymoon) and my last post will be June 27th before picking back up on July 14th (Bastille Day!!)

Knowing how much I love writing and sharing thoughts I may find my way to a computer at some point but do not know this.

Okay, now that we’ve gotten personal I wanted to share a thought.  I know of recent graduates who are in the interview process for jobs.  What a glorious time (I really do love interviewing, I can CRUSH an interview).

For college students who are going to be in the job market, just a word of advice from others mistakes from the past.  Please don’t go to a job interview with flip flops and then say afterwards, “They never took me seriously.”

    Just a thought.
